Samuel J Hood Studio.
Sam Hood chronicled life in the first half of the 20th Century.
Born in a seaside suburb of Adelaide, he opened his studio in Pitt
Street, Sydney living close to the water in Balmain, New South

He loved boats and had a successful business selling photographs of
ships. The exhibition is a sample of European shipmates and their
seafaring pets.
