Meighty Art &
Craft Competition To help us celebrate our 80 years of involvement in the Eden Community, the Eden Killer Whale Museum are conducting an Art and Craft competition from February to October 2011. The Competition is open to all residents of the Eden, Nethercote, Towamba & Mallacoota areas. Each month we will be celebrating different styles of art, starting with Photography in February, Water Colour paintings in March and Pastels in April and so on. Sue’s entry doesn’t stray too far away from the well-known
EKWM logo featuring Old Tom. “I didn’t want to get too far away from what it had been because of its recognition. It incorporates the lighthouse because of it’s celebration,” Sue said last Thursday. Dave Costello from the National Parks and Wildlife Service presented Sue with a voucher for two nights accommodation to the Green Cape Lighthouse keeper cottages. |
