The winner of the competition to develop a logo for the Eden Killer Whale Museum's 80th birthday celebrations is
Sue Cochrane from Nethercote.
Sue’s entry doesn’t stray too far away from the well-known EKWM logo featuring Old Tom.

“I didn’t want to get too far away from what it had been because of its recognition. It incorporates the lighthouse because of it’s celebration,” Sue said last Thursday.

Dave Costello from the National Parks and Wildlife Service presented Sue with a voucher for two nights accommodation to the Green Cape Lighthouse keeper cottages.

The winner of the competition to design a bookmark for the Eden Killer Whale Museum's 80th birthday celebrations is Gemma Oliver of Eden
Gemma's entry shows festive and colourful artwork which will form the basis of a bookmark produced for the museum's 80th celebrations.

The winner's prize was a $50 cheque and a beautiful set of 72 Derwent Coloured pencils.

The bookmarks will be produced with Gemma's artwork on one side and the Museum's 80th Logo and her photo on the reverse.
Complimentary bookmarks will be given with each book purchase during 2011.
